Flame University
Truths

I’m Charan. I am not a terrorist or a criminal. I am just a student.

FLAME University offered me a full scholarship at its Pune campus in Lavale, then withdrew my admission in August 2026, before my first term began. This page is the record: what the documents show, what I say happened, and what I’m asking the university to do.

Two decisions, a week apart

Both came from the Registrar’s office at FLAME University, Lavale, Pune. The academic session had not started in either case.

The Registrar’s email to me
“Stands withdrawn due to your not meeting the standards of the disciplinary code.”

The email describes no complaint and no finding, and it does not mention a hearing. It says my fees are being refunded. The Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor were copied on it.

The Anti-Ragging Committee’s report
“No action is invited at the moment.”

The reason given: the people identified were not on the university’s rolls, and the session had not started.

The students who threatened to rape my mother were let go without action. I was not.
I’m asking the university to explain why.

What happened, in order

My account
I’m offered a place on the undergraduate programme at FLAME University with a 100% scholarship.
My account
Students from the incoming-class group phone me and threaten to rape my mother. The recording is posted in that group. Before this, I had been called a caste slur made from my name in the same group.
My account
A complaint against me reaches the university. I am never shown it. The Registrar phones my father on WhatsApp and says my admission is on hold because I “harassed a girl.” I deny it.
My account

I email the Registrar my evidence: chat screenshots and recordings showing the threats and the order of events. I get no reply.

The Registrar phones my father again. My father is told I can withdraw that afternoon, and that my fees could be forfeited if I don’t. I don’t withdraw. I am not on either call, and nobody from the university speaks to me.

Document
The Registrar emails me that my admission “stands withdrawn” and that my fees are being refunded. The Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice-Chancellor are copied. The email says it follows a discussion “with your father and yourself.” I took no part in any discussion.
My account
I post my evidence on Instagram. Students, including one of those who threatened my mother, then message me demanding I take the video down and threatening legal action against me.
After
My account
I send the university more than 150 emails and call the Registrar more than 100 times. None of the calls is answered, and my emails get no reply.
Document
The Anti-Ragging Committee meets and reports on a ragging-related complaint that came through the UGC portal. It finds that none of the people identified are on the university’s rolls and, because the academic session has not started, resolves that no action is invited at the moment. I say the complaint concerned the threats against my mother, and the Registrar’s office told me the students in the recording were not on the rolls.
UGC Complaint & Cover-up
A formal UGC anti-ragging complaint is received. Following a call from the Student Union President, the administration begins twisting the narrative to protect their own interests. The Registrar falsely claims that during a conversation, my father apologized unconditionally and accepted that I had done something wrong.
The Registrar's Claim "He said 'sorry' and accepted that his son did something wrong."
The Actual Recording "Sorry if my son did something wrong."

By deliberately omitting the word "IF", the Registrar manipulated a conditional statement into a manufactured confession of guilt, entirely compromising the integrity of the investigation to justify an illegal expulsion.

My account
I reach the university’s founder and chairperson. He tells me to meet the Registrar in person.
My account
I travel about 1,500 km to the FLAME University campus at Lavale, Pune. Guards refuse me entry and say I was barred two days earlier. Nobody had told me.

I call the founder from the gate. He answers once. When I ask him why I am not allowed in, he tells me to show my admission letter, and he never picks up again. The admissions office says someone will come out to me. Nobody does. After about two hours I am escorted off the campus by three guards. The founder later messages that he has been asked to keep out of it, and blocks my number.
